× What conversations, what dialogues arise naturally as you read the report of peoples experience with Attention to Silence/Stillness?

What patterns do you see emerge?

What we want to do is engage in a somatic dialogue here.

The patterns in peoples' shared experience here are uncanny.

I had just practiced the exercise, and had shared that I began to notice alot of sounds around me that I hadn't before.

After posting, I began reading other peoples' experience, and found that the user right beneath me commented on how he began to notice sounds he hadn't before, and specifically the buzzing of the computer!

I see a pattern of 1) expansion 2) relaxation 3) peacefulness in peoples reports of their experience.

It makes me wonder what is the correlation between these and the activity of consciousness, the way that attention is being directed?

The word expansion seems to be used alot, as well as relaxation, it seems to me like we can say those are results of the meditation.

There is also a consistent report of the "flavor" being different between the two sections of the mediation, the attention to silence and attention to stillness sections. I think this is very interesting, because they are both experiences, but it seems like their nature is different in some way.
