hearing Attention to First Strike

When I started practicing this, my breath immediately got super relaxed, like it was more relaxed than it had ever been before, and it kept expanding from there.

I had a truly psychedelic experience... contemplating the first strike of sound, I started to notice all the sounds around me, and then I started to notice sounds INSIDE me - my breath, a buzzing in the background, and I decided to contemplate the first strike of these as well

As I mentioned, over time it was a psychedelic experience - I cannot explain this, I only know what I experienced. I feel very relaxed and peaceful.

As I did this exercise, I felt like my mind was being clarified, like clarified butter.

Granted, my mind was very loud at some points. As I persisted in the practice, though, a gradual feeling of physical bliss and well-being emerged, in addition to this quality of "clarified".

My breathing became very relaxed, very peaceful, like my entire chest got bigger. It took me to a really deep place inside, like a room of safety and quiet inside myself. Really beautiful.
